Vendite Birò in crescita del 25% nel 2023: dati Estrima
Estrima S.p.A. ("Estrima" or the "Company"), the leading company of the Estrima Group (the "Group"), which manufactures Birò, the smallest four-wheeled electric vehicle, announces that the number of Birò sold in 2023 has increased by 25%, from 416 in 2022 to 518 in 2023. The acquisition of orders slowed down at the end of the year (the total orders acquired in 2023 were 515 units, compared to 504 in 2022), coinciding with the depletion of public incentives in Italy and other markets. However, the number of Birò sold and invoiced to customers in the year has grown significantly, which is a more accurate indicator closely related to the company's economic performance.

Key markets such as Germany, Sweden, and Belgium, in which new Birò partners have been established, have played a decisive role. The Italian market has also shown positive growth, where the company continues to invest, with the number of Birò sold increasing by 54% to 153 units compared to 99 in 2022. These figures reflect the success of the company's strategies and the growing popularity of Birò in our country and Europe.
Ludovico Maggiore, Investor Relations at Estrima, commented: "2023 has been a year of volume growth for Estrima. The increase in Birò delivered to customers is a clear sign that our commitment to sustainable mobility is gaining interest in the markets. It is gratifying to see that our efforts to consolidate the Birò monobrand store network and the Birò Share service are yielding tangible results. We believe that the slowdown in orders can soon be overcome, as the depletion of public incentives usually leads to a postponement of purchases, rather than a cancellation.

2023 has also been a year of geographical expansion. The inauguration of new stores for sustainable mobility is an important step in our growth strategy. These new sales points not only increase our visibility but also allow us to be closer to our customers and respond more effectively to their needs."
